There have been lots of opinions flying around ever since the US extended an olive branch to Cuba. Sadly, the press doesn’t have the foresight of what will be happening behind the scenes and therefore isn’t qualified to talk. If you understand what I’m about to say, this new relationship with Cuba could put you in a new tier of extreme wealth. But you have to position yourself correctly first. To give a little background, there’s a tiny sliver of Americans who have learned to use Amazon to their EXTREME advantage. They have discovered that if they use this site to sell items in demand, they can end up with a hefty profit in very little time.
The first major step to enter into this business model is really a leap of faith. Using a proven formula of arbitrage, people buy products from the Chinese version of Amazon called Alibaba. Then the items are shipped to the US so it can be repackaged and shipped to an Amazon fulfillment center. Some people have refined the system so well that they get a middle man to repackage and ship to Amazon without ever having to handle the merchandise. Many who have taken advantage of this new business model have become millionaires. However, in the last couple of years the profit margins have been getting smaller with the rising costs of Chinese manufacturing. To bring you one step ahead of the game, I’ll tell you that some of these Amazon entrepreneurs are finding cheaper manufacturers in Indonesia. That’s where the underground buying is headed throughout the next two years.
But folks, we all know that at some point, Indonesia’s prices are going to change just like China’s prices have. It is my wholehearted prediction that by the time this happens, legislation will be laid to open trade relations with Cuba. Currently, the typical Cuban earns 13 cents per day and so this change will be very welcome. Raul Castro isn’t going to live forever, which means reforms can creep in that will allow people to enjoy healthier wages. And since Cuba is just 100 miles from Florida, the shipping costs will be minimal compared to those from Asia.
There are some people reading this right now who are becoming giddy. Others want to shoot me because they believe that the money will be taken from regular Cubans to strengthen a dictatorship. I do believe this will happen to some degree, but not so much that the Cuban people can’t have satisfying lives. When all of the facts are laid out on the table the positives far outweigh the negatives for Cuba and the world at large.
